Since gaining First Class Honours in Fine Art I have been carving out a creative career encompassing my loves of fashion, music, film and art.
I have completed placements within the fashion teams of Eve, Glamour, ELLE, First and Vogue, and worked on shoots as a stylist assistant at Easy Living,125 and NME. I explored combining my passion for art with fashion, spending time at Alexander McQueen in the role of an artwork assistant, during the evolution of his A/W 08/09 collection. One of my illustrations returned in the form of a dress (look 55) for his final A/W pre collection and was worn by Cate Blanchett on the red carpet in Cannes.
I am currently working as a freelance Music/Fashion Journalist. I have written pieces for The Guardian, Businesselle, Stylebible(Celebrity interviewer), Disappear Here, Amelias, Guestlist, Elmbridge, Edge, WhisperMag, Gunpowder, Sketchbook and Open Magazine ( permanent Fashion Police blogger and music reporter). I also spent time as the Reviews Editor of Bringthenoiseuk.com, interviewing bands including Young Guns, Eighties Matchbox B line Disaster, Ian Watkins,My Passion, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Fightstar, The Like, and Cobra Starship, also reviewing gigs, singles and albums.
In 2010 I worked on an exciting extreme sports and music TV Show called ‘Whatever It Takes, http://www.whateverittakestv.com/‘I joined fellow hosts, Matt Sharland, frontman Idiom, and Total Rock DJ Kelly D.
